Heartland Bank is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Christy Wert as Senior Customer Service Associate at the Aurora Loan Production Office of Heartland Bank. In this role, Wert is responsible for working files, taking payments, handling documents, and gathering necessary information for customers.
“The Aurora LPO is happy to welcome Christy Wert to the Heartland Bank team. She will be a valuable asset due to her recent years of experience with customer and loan support,” said Rod Howe, Vice President and Relationship Manager of the Aurora LPO.
Wert, a native of Taylor, Nebraska, graduated from Loup County High School and Spencer School of Business. She comes to Heartland Bank with numerous years of prior banking experience, most recently having worked as a loans specialist at Cornerstone Bank for seven years. Wert also worked as a travel agent for 18 years. She currently lives in Aurora and has two daughters, Lindsey (20) and Jessica (14).
Over the years Wert has been involved in community organizations and events, such as 4H of Hamilton County, tailgates for the Aurora High School football team, and the Home and Garden Show in Aurora. In her spare time, Wert enjoys making crafts, gardening, reading, camping, and riding four-wheelers.
